SleepMusic (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use our mobile application SleepMusic (the “App”), available on Google Play under the package name com.paiming.sleepmusic.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Intended use and medical disclaimer

SleepMusic provides relaxation sounds and bedtime ambience. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have persistent sleep problems or other health concerns, consult a qualified professional.

2. Target audience (including users under 13)

Our intended audience includes general consumers seeking sleep and relaxation audio. The App’s target audience may include individuals under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and you allow a child to use the App, you consent to this Privacy Policy on behalf of your child and are responsible for supervising their use.

Some features involve third-party advertising and analytics (see Section 5). Parents and guardians should review those practices and device-level controls (for example, Google Play settings and Android advertising preferences).

3. Information we and our service providers may process

Depending on how you use the App and your device settings, the following categories may apply:

• App preferences and activity stored on your device. Settings such as mixer layers, volumes, timer defaults, language preferences, and similar choices may be stored locally on your device (for example, using on-device storage libraries).
• Advertising ID. The App may read or derive an advertising identifier (when available and permitted on the device) for advertising, attribution, and analytics integrations.
• Device and usage data processed by third-party SDKs. Integrated third-party services may automatically collect technical and usage information typical of mobile SDKs, such as device identifiers, IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and related metadata. Exact details depend on the provider and your settings.
• Purchase-related information. If you purchase optional digital items (such as removing advertisements), Google Play handles payment processing. We receive transaction status from Google consistent with in-app purchase flows; we do not receive your full payment card details.

We do not require you to create an account in the App for core listening features. We do not intentionally ask children under 13 to provide contact information or other personal details directly within the App.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Operate the App, provide audio playback, timers, and related functionality;
• Serve and measure advertisements where applicable;
• Understand product usage and performance through analytics partners;
• Process optional purchases through Google Play;
• Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services whose privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Non-exhaustive examples include:

When you interact with ads, the advertisers or ad networks may collect or receive information subject to their policies.

6. Children’s privacy

Because our audience may include users under 13, we take children’s privacy seriously. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for unrelated marketing purposes where prohibited by applicable law. Where required, we rely on applicable mechanisms (including parental involvement and platform controls).

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner inconsistent with this Policy or applicable law, please contact us using the details in Section 12 and we will take appropriate steps, which may include deleting such information where required.

7. Data retention

Locally stored preferences remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App. Information held by third-party providers is retained according to their respective policies and legal requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the App to protect information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. International transfers

Third-party providers may process data in countries other than your own. Those transfers are subject to the providers’ terms and safeguards.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights regarding access, correction, deletion, or objection to certain processing. You can:

• Adjust privacy and advertising settings on your Android device (including resetting or limiting ad personalization where available);
• Uninstall the App to stop further local collection through the App;
• Contact us for privacy requests as described below.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version by updating the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
